Ways To Prevent Overheating In PS5

If you have a PlayStation 5, you may be experiencing overheating issues. This can occur for several reasons, including clogged air vents. Also, excessive use of graphically-demanding games can cause your system to overheat. This is because these games use a great deal of power and may take an abnormally long time to load. To prevent this issue, you should follow the steps below:

Ensure that your PlayStation 5 is not placed in an enclosed space. The lack of air vents causes your PlayStation to overheat. Additionally, dust may clog the air vents, creating an even greater heat buildup. Ensure your PlayStation is at least four inches away from walls and other objects to avoid the problem. Fixes To Disable HDMI-CEC

If your PlayStation 5 is prone to turning itself on, it’s a good idea to disable HDMI-CEC before it gets out of hand. Fortunately, you can disable this function from the system settings. This is possible by selecting the HDMI menu from the System menu. Select “Enable HDMI Device Link” and ensure the circle to the right of this wording is solid white. If this is not the case, you may need to change the settings of your TV.

Enabling HDMI-CEC is now possible on the PlayStation 5 with a few fixes. After installing the newest update, you will be prompted to choose your TV’s display resolution. If you don’t want to enable the resolution, choose “Aspect Ratio: 1:1.” To turn on the brightness, select “Aspect Ratio: 90°” and then “Aspect Ratio: 15” (or any other number). You may also wish to disable One-Touch Play and power off-link.

Fixes For Faulty Remote Control

If you are experiencing random shutdowns and are unable to turn on your PlayStation 5 console, you might be suffering from a faulty remote control. There are many ways to fix this problem, including contacting PlayStation support, which can help you diagnose the issue and fix it accordingly. For example, if the remote is out of batteries, you can replace them with fresh ones. If the problem persists, you can try disabling Remote Play in the settings menu. So, if this does not work, you may have a defective console that has an unresolved firmware issue.

If the PS5 is not responding to the remote control, you can try resetting the power settings. This may be necessary if your console is in Safe Mode. Toggling HDCP is also possible to fix freezing issues, but you should make sure to do this only if you’re using a compatible TV. Furthermore, you won’t want your PS5 to keep running all day. That way, you’ll save money on electricity. However, it may not be a very good idea to leave your PS5 on auto-pilot.
